Doctor's Hip-Bag
Material
Design The hip belt is fashioned in such a
way that the bag can be carried like a ski instructors bag
on the back, either over the parka with insulating foam, or
under the parka without insulating foam. The detachable shoulder strap gives
the doctor the choice to carry the bag in front of him while
administering first aid. The strap is then put over the neck
so that both hands are free to work. 4) Divider wall with
attached Velcro strip, which makes it possible to divide
the inner bag into one or two compartments. 5) 3 compartments with
Velcro closures and sewn in dividers to hold needles, band
aid rolls, markers, etc. 6) Buckle to adjust
depth of the bag. 7) Divider to hold
infusion bottles. 8) Belt pockets with
zipper. 9) Padded belt with
buckle and additional Velcro closure. 10) Compartment with
zipper for wipe towel, aloofly, gloves. 11) Clearsight pocket
to hold nametag. 12) Additional pocket
with Velcro closure. 13) Detachable shoulder
strap. 14) Pocket for insertion. The Austrian Association for Alpine
and Altitude Medicine, as Europe's biggest association for
Alpine Rescue and Alpine and Expedition Medicine, recommends
this Doctor's bag. University Professor
Dr.Berghold of Kaprun, considers that this hip-bag closes
a very sensitive equipment gap for doctors practicing first
aid out in the field Doctor's
Vial Bag (shown in picture above)
Nova-Cool RS is a highly rip-resistant
polyester woven material, immersed in a stream of vaporized
aluminum particles while treated in a vacuum chamber. This
gives the material an incredible insulation capability to
protect vials and solution bags against both heat and cold.
The form and useful layout of
both inner and outer pockets, allows for fast access to medicine,
bandages and other first-aid products which must be protected
against cold and heat and bumps and shocks.
